Cartoline dal bisnonno! My ggranpa postcards!

After searching everywhere a few months ago and given up, two days ago I finally found my collection of postcards.
When I was 15-16 years I collected postcards from everywhere, and this allowed me, unconsciously, to be the guardian of the old postcards that my great-grandfather Bartolomeo, a marine engineer, sent his wife in more than 10 years of crossings.
The cards come mainly from the ports of the Mediterranean, and some from Northern Europe.
They testify the affection of my maternal great-grandfather to his family, especially his wife, whom he adored.
I'm really proud of this re-discovery, and I'm working on postcards to learn more about the family of my grandfather.

  3. I have researched the families of several of my friends and learned I am related (by marriage) to my best friend of 50 years and another good friend of 40 years.

I discovered my stepdaughter and her husband are related by one marriage, which is truly amazing since one family is from Illinois/Missouri and the other from New York. At one time the two families crossed paths in Ohio.

Thanks for including my best Genealogy article. It’s very much appreciated. I started new blog and first time witten articles Visit My Blog -- https://www.web3genealogy.blogspot.com/
